Harry Potter is a name, and is, therefore, a noun. This means that the first letter of both words should be capitalized. Edward is also a name and should be capitalized.

Stephanie Mayer isn’t the author of the Twilight series. The authors name is Stephenie Meyer.

Words such as ‘better’, ‘than’, ‘has’, ‘can’t’, ‘magic’, ’sexy’, and ‘characters’ should not have the first letter capitalized unless it starts a sentence.

General Corrections:

Points 1, 2, 3, and 13 are stating the same thing with different words. These points are also incorrect. When looking at just numbers, the Harry Potter series has many more fans than the Twilight series. Harry Potter also has fans of both genders and just about every age category, whereas Twilights fan-base contains mostly pre-teen to teenage girls, with a few middle-aged women and a few men.

Points 4 and 5 are correct, however, I fail to understand how you see this as a valid point. Harry Potter does infact contain original characters, created by the author, JK Rowling. Twilight was created in much the same way, as are most books. Harry Potter was also created before the Twilight series, which would mean that if Edward and Jacob were characters in the Harry Potter series Stephenie Meyer would be stealing the ideas from JK Rowling.

Points 6, 7, 10, 15, and 16 are all a matter of opinion. As I stated before, the Harry Potter series is popular among many age groups, and many of these people feel very passionately about the series. There are several things throughout the world that prove this. There was a theme park built in Disney World, 8 movies made about the series, countless amounts of merchandise for sale to the fans.

Point 8, you are correct in stating that Harry Potter is not a romance novel, however, it does contain romance. There is the confusion of teenage hormones at play when Harry first has feelings for Cho Chang. Hermione is madly in love with Ron, and Ginny is madly in love with Harry.

Point 9, in my opinion Harry Potter is very well written. Each novel is described is such detail and the story is so vivid and intense that you can see the words create a movie in your mind. Well, I can at least, I can’t speak for everyone.

Point 11 and 12, you are correct in stating that Stephenie Meyer is not the author of Harry Potter. The author is JK Rowling, who, in my opinion, is an amazing author on her own. The fact that you’ve never heard of JK Rowling seems a little far-fetched to me, but you can stick to your story if you like.

Point 14, the fact that wizards roam around the world without the non-magical community knowning is unrealistic to you? Oh yes, but sparkling vampires are as common as poodles. Harry Potter is not meant to be taken literally. It is a story about over coming obstacles and always doing what you believe is right. Twilight is about a girl who can’t live without a boy in her life.

Those are my reasons why I believe you have your ‘facts’ wrong.
